Sleep Time JOY

When it comes to SLEEP TIME, I realise  we really do send mixed messages to the brain. Right up to moments before sleep we remain stimulated by computers, TV and mobile devices. Then we just turn off the lights and have very surface sleep.

Well my joy friends… you’ll find yourself being a lot more joyfull if you have some solid uninterrupted and rejuvenating sleep. My joy tip for you today is to read or listen to relaxing music before bed – try being without the visual, electronic stimulus a good half hour before bed & turn off ALL electrical goods with lights, even the small glowing one’s from things on standby (you’ll also save electricity this way too). When we do go to sleep our bodies need complete darkness for production of the important sleep hormone, melatonin.
